Cara’s Fellowship Programme
A short film to promote the work of Cara (the Council for At-Risk Academics) on the eve of the organisation’s 90th anniversary. Since the rise to power of the Nazis in central Europe in 1933, Cara has been providing sanctuary to academics at risk of discrimination, persecution and violence. This video shares the stories of some of Cara’s recent Fellows from Afghanistan, Ukraine and Syria, and speaks with supporters at the Durham University and the University of Edinburgh.
All camera, sound, lighting, interviewing and editing by yours truly.
